• Develop timelines, processes, and create ideal candidate profiles
• Announce openings in low-cost/high-impact locations and network throughout the field
• Pre-screen, summarize, and recommend top contenders
• Manage all logistics and facilitate site-based interviews
• Provide close contact through negotiations and final hiring

Work with First-Time/New Executives to:

• Understand the nonprofit “lingo,” including financial and organizational structure
• Help juggle competing priorities and triage transition issues
• Rejuvenate, energize, and catalyze the Board of Directors
• Identify “low-hanging fruit” and show quick wins
• Build trust and loyalty throughout the team

Work with the Full Board and Staff Team to:

• Re-visit vision, mission, and strategic priorities to keep them relevant to today’s nonprofit
• Convert strategic priorities into an annual operational plan with measurable goals, activities and timelines that generate results.
  
• Gain “buy in” from the staff team and create incentives for success
  
• Build an operational business plan that inspires community support

• Mentor and coach in the absence of senior leadership expertise
• Integrate grassroots, major donor, and capital campaign strategies
• Create marketing tools including FAQs, powerpoint presentations,
  and direct mail appeals
• Research and write grants to increase program and nonprofit capacity
• Drive new donors and retain existing donors
